Dryden, Manitoba – 2:00 p.m.
It’s soft here, and humid. Other than that, I don’t see much. The landscape has changed – rocks creeping out through the ground, and pine needles covering the grass in the slightly more wooded areas. It’s a warm day, and the sun is energizing on my back. There’s a bit of a breeze too – not enough to warrant the cardigan I took with me, but enough to keep whatever bugs there are off.
I got lunch – a chicken BLT at A&W with fries and a root beer. I shared two of my fries with a loud old crow because he asked so politely and waited until I was finished my sandwich.
